Three separate videos showing the footage of the history of the Upper Wharfedale Museum from its early days in the Black Horse to the opening ceremony on 1 July 1979; An Airey Tale – the lives of Tom Airey who founded his own theatre company in Grassington in the early 19th century and his granddaughter, Jane, who lived in Ivy Cottage (currently Walkers Bakers and Chocolatiers); and footage of the Grassington TB Sanatorium Hospital from its inception in 1919 to its demolition in 1997 where adults and children from the north of England were sent in the hope that the clear Dales air would help in their recovery from the life-threatening disease of tuberculosis.
