The Upper Wharfedale Museum
Photographic exhibition off 90+prints taken from glass plates more than 110 years ago of the surrounding area.
This illustrates the quality of the photos they were producing with the glass plate cameras in the late 1800s and the early 1900s.
Grassington was fortunate to have a number of photographers living in the area. Names like, the Grimshawe Bros, John Crowther, his son Maurice Crowther, and Woods.
The exhibition is Free
and will be held in the Church House,
Grassington on Sunday the 1st of July
